gKteso GmbH, a mid-size company located in Bobingen near Augsburg, specializes in the development and production of electric patient-platforms for radiotherapy. With its production line RPS (Radiotherapy Patient System) base and RPS extended it now enters the international medical technology market.

Treatments with linear accelerators

Especially during the treatment with linear accelerators, the high-performance system RPS base with its 6 degrees of freedom control proves to be very comfortable, as alignment is possible without any unnecessary corrections, due to stored data. Further quality features of the RPS base are flexible mobility of the patient platform by six degrees of freedom as well as user-friendly and reliable alignment of the platform.
Both, as second mainstay and OEM to distinguish international partners, the company develops and manufactures electronically controlled patient platforms for hospitals and specialist practices.

Quality represents the top maxim for Guido Kübler, mechanical engineer, founder and Managing Director. It is documented inter alia by DIN ISO 9001 certification. Furthermore, gKteso can refer to DIN ISO 13485, an important certification in medical science. This proves that the requirements in regards to a comprehensive management system for the design and the manufacturing of medical products are fullfilled.

35 members of staff

A staff of 35 members in total is employed. Twelve operate in the development sector, the other staff works in production. Two apprentices learning the profession of mechatronics are firm part of the team. Dietmar Kübler takes responsibility in production and quality management, while Guido Kübler heads the company as designing engineer and Managing Director.
